Adventures in Coding 1 (Oakland University)
Grade Range: 8 - 12

This camp is designed for students who have an interest in computer science. Students will learn computer programming in Scratch and Python.  They will program a Finch Robot and a Raspberry Pi.  Modules will include straight programming as well as GUI object-oriented programming.  Students will be able to unleash their creativity in open-ended exercises throughout the week and be able to take their creations home with them on a memory stick.

Exam Experts SAT Level 2(MJ Digital, Inc., WC3, 8200 W. Outer Dr., Larry Lewis Bldg, Det., MI 48219)
Grade Range: 9 - 12

Level 2 is an informative course for students in grades 9th - 12th that will provide systemic, comprehensive training for the SAT exam, utilizing ExamExperts’ highly motivational Accelerated Retention Learning (ARL) training method. Students will complete 500 practice questions, and receive preparation in the following areas: substantive (content), procedural (technique), psychological (mental preparation), and physiological (nutrition). Subjects covered include English, mathematics, reading comprehension, writing, and science reasoning. The major focus is placed on building student confidence while eliminating test anxiety. Techniques for internet scholarship research are also taught.

Project Management (Henry Ford Health Systems)
Grade Range: 10 - 12

In this course, students will learn the project life cycle. They will learn project management skillsets. Students will also use Microsoft Excel to create a project budget. Students will be assigned to a project, and take the project from the initial phase to project closure. Students will be asked to present their projects at the end of the class.
